Augusto Modigliani and Pier Paolo Calza, authors of a ten-minute tragi-comic mirror to contemporary Italy, joined us on Sunday. “The film was the first step in a larger project, tackling the issue of Italian immigration. The project afterwards took another course, and the short film is before you. I hope you like it, if you don’t, take it up with him,” briefly explained the director and co-scriptwriter and pointed to his colleague and co-author Calza.
After the screening of Dance Party, followed by a short film +39, the filmmakers joined the others in festival merrymaking.
